Kineo Kids
At Kineo, we value children as Jesus did. Listen to what He says about them in Mark 10:13-16: 13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
The heart of a child is the way to come to Jesus. We desire to train up our children in the way of the Lord and help equip parents do the same. The church should not be the source of anyone’s faith, including children. Our faith in God is freely given from God to those who ask for it. Parents must seek to know God for themselves, then they can pass what they have been given from the Lord, to their children. We want to partner with you and help you in your journey as a parent to become your child’s main source of faith building.

Young Life
At Kineo, our youth group is our Young Life club at Alhambra and Maryvale High School. From the very birth of Kineo, we had a desire to start Young Life at Alhambra and draw in youth who had never been to church before, and expose them to the love of Christ. Young Life has a Bible study called “campaigners” that meets weekly. Then on Monday nights, the leaders and jr. leaders put on a Young Life club from 7:00-8:30pm. This is a time where leaders and students will bring their unbelieving high school friends, and they engage in skits, messy games, singing and learning more about the good news of Jesus.
What is Young Life? Young Life is a non-profit Christian organization that focuses on reaching out to high school kids on their turf and exposing them to the love of Christ. To find out more about Young Life and Campaigners, email info@kineochurch.org.
Prayer Ministry
At Kineo, we believe that prayer is communication with the Almighty living God, the Creator of heaven and earth. We also believe that God hears our prayers and cares for His people in deep and intimate ways. Selina Alonzo heads up this ministry and she has a heart for laboring in prayer for Kineo and for the healing and redemption of people’s lives for the glory of God.
Our prayer ministry consists of a prayer and worship night on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30-8:00pm. Then, every Wednesday night the prayer team meets from 6:30-7:30 to pray for the church, the neighborhood, specific prayer requests, etc…
If you would like to be a part of the prayer team and/or get email updates for weekly prayer requests; or if you would like us to pray for you, or for anyone you know, email Selina at: selina.alonzo@gmail.com and our prayer team will get it and pray for your request(s). Scroll down to the bottom of this page for a list of the weekly prayer requests.

“Pray for:
a) Freedom for ministry. Minorities who keep to themselves are not specifically targeted, but the government is harsh on any who attempt to reach Uzbeks or other non-Muslim peoples. Yet the Russians and Koreans have considerable freedom to evangelize their own people, and are doing so.
b) The bridging of the cultural divides of Uzbeks, Russians and Koreans. Their differences, histories, past insensitivities and fears for the future all make cross-cultural outreach difficult. Pray that Russian and Korean Christians might have a heart for outreach to Uzbeks in culturally sensitive ways.
c) Unity. Mistrust and rivalry characterized past relations among groups, but widespread persecution has drawn together most Christians. Pray for humility, teachability and reconciliation among Christian leaders.” (Operation World Website)
